Don’t get excited. Unlike some websites we don’t have extortionately priced merchandise to sell on the back of clickbait. We just sell paper editions of our fanzine and the back issues clogging up the cupboards.
The current edition is Issue 87 which came out on 4th October 2025.
Issue 86 was new content and it came out on 11th February 2023.
Issue 85 is part compilation of old stuff that originally appeared in The Gooner and some new pages. It came out in April 2022.
Issue 84 came out just in time for the pandemic and it was a sort of farewell but not a farewell issue, as we didn’t know if we could carry on… but we have!
Issue 83 – Was an end of season compilation of pages that appeared during the 2018/2019 season in The Gooner.
As well as these, we do have a stash of old editions which we rescued from the garage. We can also reprint most of our old issues if we’ve run out of the original. There is now only one copy left of issue 50, which was a compilation of the first 50 issues, but there is a version of it containing just the new pages.
The price of the current issue via post is the same as the matchday price of £2, unless you want it first class, signed for, or sent overseas where you’ll just be charged the extra. Also email us if you want more than one, as two issues takes the size over the Royal Mail letter thickness limit so we may need to add more to cover the cost.
You can pay by using a PayPal transfer and the email address shop@upthearse.net. Remember to add a delivery address in the Paypal notes (or send it separately to editor@upthearse.net referencing your payment).
If you still can’t afford a copy, then you can register for the British Library reading room, make a request for them to be sent from the Boston Spa depository, and book a session to read them. They have a copy of every issue.
